It was yesterday. Petrucci was epic as usual, same as with Rudess and Portnoy and Myung and LaBrie... everyone was epic, and I sang through all songs. I ended up without voice, I still am. They brought Bigelf to play as support band and they were quite badass, the Yoda plush Damon Fox had over his keyboard and then in Portnoy's drum rack was a nice touch. Ended up dead tired and having classes at 7 am next day (Today) but surely was, bar none, one of my best experiences.

Fue ayer. Estuvo de pinga, Petrucci épico como de costumbre, así como Rudess y Portnoy y Myung y LaBrie... estuvieron arrechísimos todos, canté con todas las canciones. Terminé sin voz, y hasta ahorita. Se trajeron a Bigelf como teloneros, y debo decir que no están nada más, el peluche de Yoda que tenía Damon Fox y que terminó en la batería de Portnoy estuvo comiquísimo. Terminé cansado que jode, y con clases en la uni a las 7, pero sin lugar a dudas, una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida.

Sep, feliz día del Amor y la Amistad y todo eso. Personalmente, no tengo nada que celebrar. E incluso le he agarrado odio al día. Pero estoy seguro que hay muchos que sí lo disfrutan, así que me siento contento por ellos.

Nothing too new or interesting yet, a little art here and there, surviving college, etc.

Just wanted to change my journal and perhaps share two songs that are currently stuck in my head.

First of them is "Rubicon" by VNV Nation. I've always loved their songs and the fact they're so beautiful and thought-provoking but this, along with "Arena", certainly have a special je ne sais quoi that makes it truly shine. Perhaps because, more often than not I find myself on situations I cannot undo, or turn back from. So I just need to carry on.

The second is "Winter Born (This Sacrifice)" by The Crüxshadows. First, I need to sav Rogue's hairdos make me hard to NOT giggle when I watch any of their videos. No matter how serious it's supposed to be. But this song, well, this song is certainly awesome. Really striking. Makes me think that, even for battles that can't be won, there IS a point on trying, doing your best, and in some way or another, redeem yourself. No need to get into the religious interpretations for it but well, there are certainly some.
